Listen up: Podcast talk on "An inside view of the European Investment Fund"

Titel: Podcast

In this episode of our podcast series "Road to IPO" we focus on the European Investment Fund (EIF). The central idea of the EIF is to help small and medium-sized enterprises with funding. Promoting entrepreneurship and innovation in Europe is the top priority. The fund is a public-private partnership and is mostly owned by the EU. However, the EIF should not be seen as a subsidy fund; all investments must also generate profit and generate a certain return.

In a conversation with host Joël Kaczmarek, Peter Fricke, Head of Deutsche Börse Venture Network, and Bjorn Tremmerie, Head of Venture Capital and Impact Investing at EIF, you gain deep insights into the structures and tasks of the fund.

The following questions will be answered in this podcast episode:

  • How much money does EIF manage?
  • What does the EIF invest in?
  • How is the fund structured?
  • Who are the governing bodies?
  • What are the objectives?
  • What is the impact of Corona on the fund?
  • What are the investment volumes?
  • What are the future prospects for European Venture?
