Our speaker:

Hannah Gruchowis a patent attorney in the Life Science team at Eisenführ Speiser. She advises various clients ranging from international corporations and universities to various venture capital funds and start-ups. A central aspect of her work is conducting and preparing freedom-to-operate analyses, which include searching for and dealing with third-party property rights.

Sönke Scheltz is a partner at Eisenführ Speiser and a member of the patent infringement litigation team. He primarily represents international clients, but also German SMEs and start-ups in complex, mostly multinational patent infringement and nullity proceedings before all German courts and the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Sönke Scheltz also benefits from his litigation practice when advising his clients out of court to avoid court disputes and when drafting and negotiating contracts.
