AXA IM expands its ETF offering on Xetra: actively managed ETF with focus on biodiversity now with currency hedge

A new actively managed exchange traded fund from AXA Investment Managers has been tradable on Xetra and via the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since Tuesday.

AXA IM ACT Biodiversity Equity UCITS ETF EUR(H) uses qualitative and quantitative analysis to select companies worldwide that offer solutions for biodiversity conservation. The focus is on eliminating soil and water pollution, land degradation, fauna and flora destruction, desertification and over-consumption.

The fund seeks to promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on clean water and sanitation, sustainable consumption, life under water and life on land.

Companies that do not directly support the targeted SDG goals but offer products and services that minimise negative externalities on biodiversity are also considered.

With this share class, AXA IM is expanding its existing offering to include the currency-hedged variant, in which the effects of exchange rate fluctuations are minimised.
