New iShares ETFs on Xetra: sustainable companies worldwide and corporate bonds with currency hedging
Two new exchange traded funds from iShares have been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Friday.
The iShares MSCI ACWI SRI UCITS ETF gives investors access to large and medium-sized companies from developed and emerging markets worldwide. The selection process uses a best-in-class approach to identify companies with superior sustainability ratings to comparable companies in the same sector. Companies from controversial and contentious business sectors and those with exposure to fossil fuels are excluded.
The iShares Core GBP Corp Bond UCITS ETF EUR Hedged provides access to Sterling denominated corporate fixed income bonds from a variety of sectors regardless of the domicile of the issuer. The selected bonds have an investment grade rating and a remaining maturity of at least one year. The share of an issuer is limited to 4 per cent. This is a currency-hedged share class in which the effects of exchange rate fluctuations are minimised.
