New bond ETFs from Amundi on Xetra: Term ETFs with access to euro government bonds of European countries
Since Thursday, three new exchange-traded funds issued by Amundi Asset Management have been tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.
The new Amundi Fixed Maturity product range invests in a broadly diversified portfolio of euro-denominated government bonds that are liquidated at maturity. The interest and principal payments from maturing bonds are reinvested in government bonds issued by France and Germany with a remaining maturity of one month to six months at any time. At maturity, investors receive the nominal value of the bonds on a pro rata basis and benefit from ongoing interest payments during this time.
The following three maturity ETFs are available:
The Amundi Fixed Maturity 2028 Euro Government Bond Broad UCITS ETF invests in fixed-income government bonds issued by eurozone member countries maturing in 2028.
The Amundi Fixed Maturity 2028 Euro Government Bond Yield+ UCITS ETF invests in Spanish, Italian and Portuguese fixed-rate government bonds maturing in 2028.
The Amundi Fixed Maturity 2027 German Bund Government Bond UCITS ETF invests in German fixed-income government bonds maturing in 2027.
